On November 24th, 2016, Focuslight successfully held the 2nd industry Forum of Applications of High Power Semiconductor Lasers. The theme of this forum is “Innovation & Cooperation”.

This forum provided a platform for our customers, industry experts, and academic researchers to meet and exchange ideas/thoughts on technologies and applications of semiconductor lasers.? It was also an excellent opportunity for Focuslight team to get close to our customers and learn their specific needs. This forum featured 25 invited talks covering a variety of topics in three sessions: Applications of Diode Lasers in Life Science, Applications of Diode Lasers as Solid Laser Pumping Source, and Technology and Applications of Laser Optics. Dr. Victor X. Liu of Focuslight CEO gave a keynote speech titled “current status and development trend of high power diode lasers”. Dr. Dirk Hauschild, VP of Marketing of LIMO gave an invited talk on the technology and applications of Micro-optics beam shaping. There were around 200 attendees from China, Korea and Europe to learn, meet and share their knowledge and insights on diode lasers and laser optics.

As the major sponsor of this forum, LIMO, the world leader in micro-optics, showcased its micro-optics products and applications at the forum.? This was a great opportunity for LIMO to meet its Chinese customers and learn their product needs.
